It is a large company, and quite well known among students as well as industry professionals. There is no doubting its popularity. The question is, does Essay Pro live up to the positive hype and testimonials? This review is written to answer that question.

Step 2: Quality of Products and Services

To evaluate the quality of products and services, we began by reviewing a college paper that we obtained from a source of ours. The paper had been delivered on time, and it was free from major grammar and spelling errors. However, we do wish the writer had chosen some alternative sources. The ones they used were a bit biased, and not quite ideal for academic writing. Still, the writer had good ideas and the paper was well-structured.

We also sought out insights from other customers to see what their experiences were. Here, things were decidedly mixed. Many had a great experience and were happy with the writing they received. However, there were others that had significant complaints about quality. They cited poor phrasing and spelling, late delivery, and work that wasn’t at a college level.

Step 3: Writers and Support

Based on what we learned from the sample we received as well as consumer reviews, the quality of writers seems to be very mixed at EssayPro. Some do excellent work and communicate very well. Others appear as if they have exaggerated their qualifications, and can not be relied upon to communicate or deliver work on time. Many customer complaints stated that the company should do a better job of vetting their writers before allowing them to work with customers.

Step 4: Prices

The cost of essay writing at Essay Pro starts at 11 dollars per page. This is on the low side of average. While that price may be attractive, we encourage students to look at the bigger picture. Specifically, they should consider whether the company can hire writers who are college graduates or otherwise qualified to write academic papers.

Keep in mind that these prices are for students who opt to allow Essay Pro to choose a writer for them. They may also submit a request for writing, and accept bids from writers. However, it is difficult to tell if writer qualifications are accurate. Students are allowed to chat directly with writers before choosing. We strongly urge students to reconsider accepting the cheapest bid available to them. This could lead to work that is of very questionable quality.

The 11 dollar price is for a lower-level college paper with a two-week deadline. Essay writing can cost 18 dollars per page for doctorate-level students. That is still very low. There are no changes in pricing for dissertation work or homework assignments.

Step 5: Additional Features and Discounts

We found an offers tab on the website and were hopeful that we would find a discount code or other savings. However, it just took us to the order page. We could find no savings, referral bonuses, coupons, or other discounts on the EssayPro website.

Our final step was to look for additional features, bonuses, and extra content. With a website as popular as this, our hopes were high. We found a blog. The content there was surprisingly helpful and relevant to most students. We were also happy to see the blog posts were nicely up-to-date.  It was also a very nice touch that the blog is searchable.

Next, we went to look at the writer’s tab. This lists the writers that work through essay pro, their qualifications, ratings, and other information. Students may select a writer directly through this page if they prefer. 

Finally, the about us page discloses the methods used to hire writers, gives information about the company’s quality assurance team and states they offer 24/7 customer support. There is a mention of discounts, but further information is not made available.

Verdict

Our final rating of Essay Pro is fair. While we cannot recommend this writing service, we are also not issuing any warnings about it being a scam or fraud. This is a legit service, and students will receive the product they order. However, the level of quality is very uneven. Some students get excellent results. Unfortunately, there are several negative customer reviews as well. These cite poor writing, unhelpful customer service, and the inability to get a refund when there is an issue. It is for these reasons that we encourage students to be careful, and perhaps consider the pros & cons of another writing service that we have reviewed.
