Android Backup – To help prevent a tragedy, students should use this app to take all their notes in class. When taking notes, including photos, the app will back them up automatically to the SMS card. Then is sends them to the students’ Gmail account to view later. NASA App – This is the official app of NASA, the space agency of the US government. It features a schedule of launches, NASA mission’s calendar, along with videos and images of space. It allows students to learn more about our satellites in space. There’s also their Earth-Now Jet Propulsion Laboratory app that focuses on the health and atmosphere of the earth. It shows maps that are color coded and show the earth’s global climate, levels of gasses, and the earth’s temperature. Anatomy 4D Google App – This app gives students the capability to inspect, in close detail, the anatomy of the entire human body. They can scan any 2D image from the website of the publisher. Included in the information is information for them to understand the human body and how it works.
Frog Dissection app – For some students, cutting open a frog sounds like fun, but for others, not so much. With this app, there’s no formaldehyde! The students still learn the anatomy of the frog but without the frog "juice.” The dynamic imaging is 3D allowing the complete study of the internal parts of the frog.
